Job hunting just may be the most tedious thing a person could do. I search through an endless amount of sites and come across so many jobs but nothing really perks my interest or may not even be a position for which I am qualified for. For instance, Mount Sinai Hospital has oodles and oodles of openings on Monster.com but something tells me my journalism degree doesn’t mean I’m capable of drawing blood or stitching up a wound.

What exactly constitutes the time length of a dry spell; three to four months or five to six months? I don’t think there are any specific guidelines but I do know that I am going through more than a dry spell. I would definately classify this as a drought. I have been in New York for over seven months and I can’t snag a job with benefits.

Mmmmm there’s nothing better than a fried turkey, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce. I love the holiday season. Everything is so festive, the leaves turn an array of autumn colors and your breath becomes visible in the air. I have such fond memories of the Fall and Thanksgiving. My family quarreling because no one wants to actually help cook dinner and my brother hunched over a turkey fryer with seven turkeys .
