WOW - all Sara Palin needs is those super bracelets and patriotic leotard and we'll have our own Wonder Woman. Did she blow anyone else away? This woman has it all. The more she spoke about her life and background the more sloth-like I felt. Husband, five kids (one in the military and a newborn with Down syndrome), beauty queen (at least 1st runner up), started her political career in the PTA, became Mayor, then Governor, and now may be the first female Vice President. Do you think she ever sleeps? I needed a nap just after listening to her speech!!

I've never gone back and forth on someone as much as Hillary Clinton. Years ago I really liked and admired her. Then for a while I didn't like or respect her at all. Now it seems, I came full circle and am back to liking and admiring. Why does Hillary do this to me - and does she do it to anyone else.

After years and years of networking the tradional way, I became very disenchanted with most groups and events. We all know the drill; go to the event, walk the room looking at name tags of people you may want to do business with, hand out your cards, try to make connections within the allotted time allowed for each new person and then go back to your office and try to remember which card matches which person. Unless you write notes on the card right away (which is not always possible and most times you don't want the person to see what you wrote) you end up DIS-carding them. No connections made. Time and money wasted.

This past week I had the pleasure of meeting 3 dynamic women from the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. Ally Gunduz, Global Business Director for the Manhattan Chamber, www.manhattancc.org; Monica Howden, President of Howden Resources; and Lanie Doktori, President of Accurate Printing and Graphics, www.accuprinting.com.
