Our Jr Moxxie program for college women is starting now. This program will provide female college students with a competitive edge. Its membership is considered a privilege as well as a responsibility. Select female college students will be given unique opportunities and in turn will be challenged to inspire the younger generation of future business women through our partnership with the Girl Scouts.
Our sophisticated software program will provide the most compatible mentor/mentee match-ups based on common interests - both professional and personal. Moxxie Network will oversee the mentor/mentee relationship to ensure appropriate, consistent and professional business and personal growth.
Please Note - due to the nature of our Program, all mentors will be background checked
What are the guidelines for being a Moxxie Mentor?
1) initial face-to-face meeting with your mentee
2) subsequent face-to-face meetings at least once every 3 months
3) bi-weekly email discussions initiated and moderated by Moxxie Network
4) attend at least one Moxxie Network mentor/mentee event with your mentee
5) bring your mentee to at least 2 networking meetings
6) invite your mentee to your workplace or to visit a client with you
7) complete the monthly and year-end surveys
How long is the committment?
One year.
What if I never mentored before?
No worries. Moxxie Network has partnered with the Mentoring Partnership of Long Island and will provide training to all members interested in becoming mentors. We will email "Discussion Prompts" every other week to assist and guide the discussions between the mentors and mentees. These prompts will also keep all Moxxie Network mentor/mentee pairs on the same topic of discussion at the same time.
What if my mentee and I are not a good match?
We will re-assign your mentee to a better suited mentor.
So, how do I sign up?
Thanks for supporting the future business women of Long Island and
helping to stave off the much-dreaded Brain Drain.
